There are a wide variety of ways that people try to cool down their conservatory in the summer. When the hot sun hits the conservatory windows, the ‘glass effect’ kicks in and turns the conservatory into a roasting oven.
To avoid this, people install solar coating, fans, conservatory window blinds, and as a last resort, an air conditioning unit. While none of these items on their own will necessarily provide sufficient protection from the searing sun, a combination of several items should help to bring the temperature down to a bearable level.
