How To Clean Blinds
Everyone knows how tough it is to get your blinds squeaky clean but no matter how long you postpone the task you just have to get going. If you are looking for quick tips on how to clean blinds the first thing you’ll need to do is get the blinds away from the frame.
Put them in warm water in a tub and then after sometime, spray each of the blind on each side with a good cleaning solution that are easily available in the local hardware store. Just leave them in for sometime and then put them under running water or use a shower nozzle to clean or rinse each of the blind.
To clean the dirt and grime from in between the blinds, turn them on the side and rinse off with shower nozzle and see how the blinds get back to the original color. Leave them to dry and then fix it back in the window.
How To Clean Blinds
It is not easy to clean vertical blinds with just a brush so if you are looking to clean blinds, make a mix of water and bleach in a large tub or bucket using the ratio of ½ gallon of water with 1 cap of bleach. Take a sponge and soak it in the mixture after getting the blinds out of the window or door and lay them flat. Move the sponge over each blind vertically up ad down to get the grime and dirt off it completely. If you do not want the excess water to be running over the floor, place a few paper towels or an old towel below the blinds.
You can even use a scrubber instead of a sponge, if you feel that the blinds need a rough rubbing but make sure you squeeze out the excess water. After the blinds are cleaned, use paper towels or even a soft cotton cloth to wipe away the moist surface. Let them air dry for at least a few hours. Now you can attach the blinds back into the window or door frame.
